The Aquatic Dissolution was a craftable post-Moon Lord broadsword that was a direct upgrade to the Mariana. When used, it fired 3 aquatic spears from the sky, which bounced off tiles twice, disappearing on the third. Spears could pass through tiles for a second after spawning.

Its best modifier was Legendary.

• 2.0.0.001: Removed.

• 1.5.1.001: No longer considered a nature weapon.

• 1.5.0.001: Nerfed damage from 200 to 125.

• 1.4.2.108: Resprited projectile.

• 1.4.2.105:
  • Buffed damage from 165 to 200, and knockback from 5.5 to 6.
  • Projectiles are now spawned based on cursor position instead of from above the player.
  • Ocean beams no longer collide with tiles for a second after spawning.

• 1.4.2.001: Buffed damage from 154 to 165.
