The Titanium Railgun in use.

The Titanium Railgun is a craftable Hardmode ranged weapon. When holding left click, it will begin charging energy, signified by a pair of converging sights illuminating a cone-shaped area in the aiming direction. Releasing the key will fire the weapon, firing a white beam of light that pierces indefinitely. The damage, size, and knockback of the beam increases the longer the weapon is charged for, reaching its maximum power once the cannon sights have fully converged into a single red laser sight.

Its best modifier is Unreal.

  • The piercing properties of this weapon make it extremely potent against segmented enemies and large groups, making it a great weapon to use throughout early and mid-Hardmode.

  • Now considered a specialist weapon.
  • Fixed its holdout making the player's arm draw incorrectly.

    • Reworked:
      • Buffed damage from 100 to 275 and knockback from 3 to 5, but nerfed use time from 25 to 26.
      • Holding down left click now charges up the weapon to fire an extremely fast beam when released.
      • Damage of the beam scales with how long it has been charged up for, stopping when the sights full converge.
  • Fixed it shooting far ahead of the gun itself due to boosted bullet velocity.
    • Buffed damage from 70 to 100.
    • Beam now sets NPC immunity frames to 7 instead of 8.
  • Buffed damage from 50 to 70, nerfed knockback from 3.5 to 3, and its beam's dust no longer has gravity.
  • Removed tooltip "Fires a powerful blast of light energy".
  • Beams now set NPC immunity frames to 8.
  • 1.1.7: Fixed a hold offset issue.
