The Auroradical Throw is a Hardmode rogue weapon that drops from Astrum Aureus. When used, it throws out an astral star that splits into five stars after traveling for a short distance. The split stars will deal 100% of the base damage and travel away from where the main star split for two seconds before homing in on nearby enemies. All stars inflict the Astral Infection debuff and can travel through blocks.
Performing a stealth strike with the Auroradical Throw causes the homing stars to rain one meteor on enemy hits, each dealing 125% damage.
Its best modifier is Flawless.
History

- 2.0.2.001:
- Buffed damage from 32 to 48, splitting damage from 87% base damage to 100%, and meteor damage from 50% base damage to 125%.
- Nerfed the star's lifespan from 8.08 seconds to 6, made the homing stronger and faster, and it no longer deals area of effect damage on hit.
- Stealth strikes now have a 120% damage modifier.
