The Sky Stabber is a craftable Pre-Hardmode spiky ball. When used, it throws up to 4 gravity-ignoring spiky balls. The balls move very slowly and decelerate to a stop after travelling a short distance. These balls can also bounce off tiles and will despawn after either piercing 9 times or after 16.67 seconds. Right-clicking with the weapon will delete all the existing spiky balls.

Performing a stealth strike with the Sky Stabber will cause the next spiky ball thrown to rain down a spread of 4 homing feathers for each enemy hit. The feathers released are similar to the set bonus of the Aerospec armor.

Its best modifier is Flawless.

2.0.4.001:
- Nerfed critical strike chance from 8% to 4%, but buffed shot speed from 2 to 2.2.
- Spiky balls now last 16.67 seconds instead of 20, and pierce 9 times instead of 19.
- Feathers now home towards the closest enemy instead of the earliest enemy in the NPC array.

2.0.3.003: Can no longer proc Venerated Locket's clone projectiles.
