The Brimlash is a craftable Hardmode broadsword that autoswings. It fires out a damaging projectile that pierces infinitely and splits into 3 homing projectiles upon hitting an object or reaching the end of its range.

Its best modifier is Legendary.

Trivia

  • The weapon reuses its sprite from a now removed weapon known as the Brimlash Buster, which was the upgrade for the Brimlash.

History

These history sections are still a work-in-progress, and may not yet contain changes relevant to the current version of the Calamity Mod.
  • 2.0.2.002:
    • Nerfed use time from 25 to 30 and it now spawns 3 projectiles instead of 4 upon splitting.
    • Main projectile now grants 15 local immunity frames.
    • Fixed its projectile ring spawning not being an even distance away from each other.
  • 2.0.2.001:
    • No longer uses 3 Essences of Havoc in its recipe.
    • Decreased sell price from 12 Gold Coin to 9 Gold Coin.png 60 Silver Coin.png.
  • 2.0.1.001: Now uses 12 Ashes of Calamity in its recipe instead of 5.
  • 1.5.1.001:
    • Buffed damage from 64 to 70 but nerfed velocity from 15 to 10.
    • Projectiles now inflict Brimstone Flames for 3 seconds instead of 5.
  • 1.4.5.004: Split projectiles now home in much faster onto enemies.
  • 1.4.3.002: Now uses Ashes of Calamity in its recipe instead of Living Shards.
  • 1.1.7: Now uses 4 Unholy Cores in its recipe instead of 11 Ashes of Calamity.
