The Daedalus Golem Staff is a craftable Hardmode summon weapon. When used, it summons a Daedalus Golem that follows the player.

When an enemy is nearby, the golem randomly switches between the following attacks:

  • Shoots non-piercing purple-blue pellets from its finger that inflict the Frostburn debuff.
  • Channels an orb before firing red lightning bolts that pierce once.

The golem can target and attack enemies through tiles and its projectiles can pass through tiles.

Its best modifier is Ruthless. The Mythical modifier provides the widest array of stat bonuses, but these primarily affect the initial summon rather than the resulting minion. Additionally, minions cannot deal critical hits. The only lasting advantage a Mythical Daedalus Golem Staff has over a Ruthless one is knockback.

These history sections are still a work-in-progress, and may not yet contain changes relevant to the current version of the Calamity Mod.
  • Pellets now inflict Frostburn for 3 seconds.
  • No longer considered an ice weapon.
    • Minions will now stand on either side of the player or enemies instead of exclusively standing on the right side.
    • Minions can now walk on one-block thick floors as intended.
