Use

The Spark Spreader is a craftable Pre-Hardmode flamethrower that uses gel as ammunition, and is currently the earliest obtainable flamethrower. It shoots short-ranged orange flames when used. The flames inflict the On Fire! debuff and pierce three enemies.

Its best modifier is Unreal.

• The Spark Spreader was implemented based on a community suggestion made by ThomasThePencil on the mod's Discord server.

• 2.0.3.008: Resprited.

• 2.0.3.007:
  • Buffed damage from 7 to 10 and shot speed from 5 to 6, but nerfed use time from 10 to 12.
  • Sparks now last 0.7 seconds instead of 0.5, and grant -1 local immunity frames instead of 30.
  • No longer has a 70% chance to not consume ammo.
  • Improved the visuals of its sparks.

• 2.0.2.001: Now uses 10 Any Gold Bars in its recipe instead of a Flare Gun.

• 1.5.1.001: No longer considered a fire weapon.

• 1.4.3.001: Now has a tank behind the player.

• 1.4.2.107: Now counts as a fire weapon.
