Use

The Flarewing Bow is a craftable Hardmode bow. When used, it auto-fires a group of 3 parallel arrows per shot, only consuming one arrow to do so. It converts normal Wooden Arrows into fast obsidian bat projectiles, which inflict Hellfire and swoop in a wide clockwise motion. Obsidian bats home in on enemies after piercing through them once.

Its best modifier is Unreal.

• 2.0.3.005: Flare bats now start homing after 8 frames instead of 10, and can home in from a slightly larger distance.

• 2.0.3.003:
  • Buffed damage from 17 to 31 and shot speed from 16 to 18, but nerfed use time from 30 to 41 and it now fires 3 arrows per shot instead of 4.
