The Pulse Turret Remote is a craftable Hardmode sentry. It summons a stationary turret sentry that fires a purple homing pulse blast towards nearby enemies. Every third shot, a spread of three blasts is fired.

The weapon consumes 1 units of charge per use and has a maximum charge of 135. As such, the weapon can be used continuously from full charge 135 times, or for 54 seconds.

Its best modifier is Ruthless. However, the weapon's knockback will not be affected due to already being 0.



The Pulse Turret Remote cannot be crafted until the Encrypted Schematic from the Jungle Bio-center Lab is decrypted. If the requirement has not been met, two lines of tooltip are added at the bottom of the item:

These history sections are still a work-in-progress, and may not yet contain changes relevant to the current version of the Calamity Mod.
    • Now attempts to spawn at the nearest resting spot below it upon use.
    • Fixed it being able to move upwards when interacting with the edges of tiles or platforms.
    • Buffed damage from 100 to 150.
    • Minions and their projectiles now deal minion damage, preventing them from unintentionally critically striking.
  • Now uses 10 Infected Armor Plating in its recipe instead of 5.
  • No longer does more damage to inorganic enemies.
    • Now has a use time of 24 instead of 25.
    • Fixed an issue that caused it to lose its charge when reforged.
    • Fixed it having an incorrect sell price.
    • Now uses charge with a maximum of 135, consuming 1 charge for every minion summoned.
    • Fixed a bug with the sentry minion interfering with other sentries.
