The Wingman is a Hardmode magic gun that is dropped by Martian Walkers during the Martian Madness event. When used, it auto-fires a set of three overlapping laser beams that do not pierce.
Its best modifier is Mythical.

Trivia
- A wingman is a supporting pilot that protects the main aircraft. This is seen in the appearance of the Alpha Ray, where two of it are situated alongside the Genisis.
- The Wingman was implemented based on a community suggestion made by Gouvod on the mod's Terraria Forums post.
