Not to be confused with Phantasmal Ruin, a similarly-themed rogue weapon.

The Phantasmal Fury is a craftable post-Moon Lord wand that is a direct upgrade to the Spectre Staff. When used, it fires a soul that leaves behind a trail of bolts as it travels. When the soul collides with an enemy or tile or after traveling a certain distance, it explodes into 8 more bolts in a circular formation. Both the souls and bolts home on nearby enemies. The souls do not pierce while the bolts pierce once.

Its best modifier is Mythical.

Trivia

• The Phantasmal Fury is similar to the Venusian Trident and Shadowbolt Staff in that they are all crafted using a drop from one of the Rune of Kos bosses and Ruinous Souls, and directly upgrade post-Plantera magic weapons.
