The Scourge of the Desert is a javelin dropped by the Desert Scourge. When used, it throws a javelin that burrows into tiles and launches itself towards the closest enemy when burrowing through tiles. Thrown javelins are slightly affected by gravity and pierce twice.

Performing a stealth strike with the Scourge of the Desert will throw 3 javelins instead of 1 that can burrow through the ground and pierce 3 times. The javelins deal 65% of the weapon's base damage.

Its best modifier is Flawless.

Trivia

• This weapon's appearance is a reference to a bug with the Desert Scourge boss when it was originally introduced. The boss' head was far larger than intended.
• This weapon used to be Revengeance Mode-exclusive.
