The 2.0.3.007 (or 2.0.3.7) update rebalanced several bosses and weapons, including adding a new Deerclops AI for Revengeance Mode. Notably, it also touched up on every flamethrower in the mod, with some being entirely reworked, and reworked Desert Scourge's drops.

  • Now forces net syncs, even if the net spam counter is too high.

Empress of Light

  • Reduced acceleration and maximum velocity by 20%.
  • Increased downtime between all attacks.
  • Now takes 80% damage from Plague Tainted SMG's drones instead of 70%.

Exo Mechs

  • Buffed Artemis and Apollo's defense from 80 to 100.
  • Artemis and Apollo no longer take 90% damage from Seared Pan, or 80% damage from Dynamic Pursuer.
  • Buffed Ares' Gauss Nuke, Laser Cannon, Plasma Cannon, and Tesla Cannon's defense from 80 to 100.
  • Ares' body is no longer immune to Miracle Blight.
  • Ares now takes 80% damage from Ark of the Cosmos' spin throw instead of 70%, and 85% damage from Murasama instead of 75%.
  • Buffed Thanatos' head defense from 80 to 100, but nerfed tail defense from 120 to 100.

Providence, the Profaned Goddess

  • Added a visual flaming border around her to show when Holy Inferno will be inflicted. This border fades in as the player gets closer to it.
  • Holy Inferno border now smoothly expands back to normal size after a cocoon phase instead of instantly snapping back to normal.
  • The player now only receives the flaming visuals while inflicted with Holy Inferno instead of when they get close to being inflicted.
  • Removed her sky shader.
  • Now drops an extra 30-40 Divine Geodes when defeated at nighttime.

Ravager

  • Body and Flame Pillars now force net syncs, even if the net spam counter is too high.

  • Buffed Aerospec armor's on-hit feather base damage from 20 to 80.
  • Ranged Bloodflare armor and God Slayer armor's set bonus projectiles now spawn every 2.5 seconds instead of 2.
  • Rebalanced Blood Pact. Nerfed max health boost from 100% to 25% and healing potion health boost from 50% to 25%. However, it no longer gives a chance for the player to be critically hit or gives the Bloody Boost buff, and its healing potion health boost is now always available instead of being granted by the Bloody Boost buff.
  • Buffed ranged Daedalus armor's on-hit crystal shard base damage from 27 to 90.
  • Rebalanced Dimensional Soul Artifact, it now grants a 20% multiplicative damage boost instead of 25% additive.
  • Buffed Dragon Scales' fireball base damage from 55 to 57. Fireballs now last 7.5 seconds instead of 5, and have an innate 10 armor penetration.
  • Elemental Gauntlet now makes melee attacks inflict Elemental Mix instead of Hellfire.
  • Elemental Gauntlet, Fire Gauntlet, Mechanical Glove, Berserker's Glove, Power Glove, and Feral Claws can no longer stack melee speed boosts.
  • Empyrean armor now gives permanent Empyrean Wrath and Empyrean Rage buffs when below 50% health instead of Wrath and Rage.
  • Decreased Glove of Recklessness' critical strike chance penalty from 10% to 5%.
  • Nerfed Heart of the Elements' minion base damage from 90 to 50.
  • Buffed Hydrothermic armor's deepsea blaze base damage from 100 to 300.
  • Rebalanced Leviathan Ambergris. Buffed dash velocity boost from 15% to 20%, it now reduces the dash cooldown by 33%, and it now inflicts Riptide for 3 seconds instead of 1. However, it no longer grants 5% damage reduction while dashing.
  • Rebalanced Plaguebringer armor. Buffed Plaguebringer Carapace's summon damage boost from 12% to 15%, and Plaguebringer Pistons' summon damage boost from 13% to 15%. Pistons no longer make the player spawn bees while running. Nerfed Lil' Plaguebringer's base damage from 80 to 25, and it now spawns bees when enemies are nearby instead of dealing direct damage to every nearby enemy.
  • Buffed tank Reaver armor's thorn base damage from 80 to 240.
  • Nerfed Rose Stone, minion hellfireballs no longer explode on death.
  • Rebalanced Slagsplitter Pauldron. Buffed damage reduction boost while dashing from 5% to 10%. It now inflicts Armor Crunch for 5 seconds instead of Brimstone Flames for 4 seconds.
  • Trinket of Chi now grants 4% damage reduction after not getting hit for 5 seconds instead of 10% after 15 seconds.
  • Void of Calamity and Void of Extinction are no longer blocked from being equipped at the same time.

Weapons

  • All Elemental weapons now inflict Elemental Mix:
  • Buffed Abyss Blade, projectiles now have an extra update, and last 0.625 seconds instead of 0.5.
  • Increased Ancient Ice Chunk's ice shard velocity.
  • Buffed Anti-materiel Rifle, extra bullets now deal 15% base damage instead of 14%.
  • Rebalanced Arch Amaryllis. Nerfed damage from 75 to 58, but homing bolts no longer deal 75% base damage.
  • Rebalanced Ark of the Cosmos. Nerfed damage from 1770 to 1700, but buffed parry damage multiplier from 1.2x to 1.4x. Increased the spin throw's range from 40.625 tiles to 47.5, but snapping the blade no longer gives parry charges.
  • Nerfed Astral Staff's damage from 270 to 245, and crystals now pierce once instead of 4 times.
  • Buffed Atlantis' damage from 70 to 82. Spears now grant 6 ID-static immunity frames instead of 12.
  • Rebalanced Aurora Blazer. Buffed damage from 49 to 74 and use time from 18 to 5, but nerfed use animation from 18 to 30. Flames now have 2 extra updates instead of 3, and now grant 6 ID-static immunity frames instead of 20 local immunity frames. It no longer has a 60% chance to not consume ammo.
  • Rebalanced Bladecrest Oathsword. Buffed damage from 25 to 26, and projectiles now home in faster. However, it now fires less projectiles on each swing. It no longer has use turn.
  • Buffed Blighted Cleaver, blazing phantom blades now pierce 4 times instead of 2, last 3.5 seconds instead of 3, and inflict Hellfire instead of On Fire!.
  • Rebalanced Blood Boiler. Nerfed damage from 145 to 115, use animation from 15 to 25, and shot speed from 12 to 9.5. It now fires 2 flame streams at once. Flames now have 4 extra updates instead of 1, lose 15% damage on each hit, grant -1 local immunity frames instead of 5 ID-static immunity frames, and inflict Burning Blood for 10 seconds instead of 4. It now has a 40% chance to not consume health instead of 25%.
  • Rebalanced Bonebreaker. Nerfed damage from 60 to 45 and use time from 15 to 20, but buffed shot speed from 12 to 16. The javelin now lasts 4 seconds instead of 10, and now inflicts Penetrated for 3 seconds instead of 4, Acid Venom for 1.5 seconds instead of 2, and Armor Crunch for 3 seconds instead of 4.
  • Nerfed Brimlance's damage from 58 to 50. The spear now grants 60 local immunity frames instead of 12. Fireballs now deal 25% base damage instead of 40%. Explosions now deal 35% base damage instead of 65%, pierce twice instead of infinitely, last 0.5 seconds instead of 1, and grant 30 ID-static immunity frames instead of 10.
  • Buffed Briny Baron's damage from 180 to 182, and use time from 30 to 20.
  • Rebalanced Cleansing Blaze. Buffed damage from 130 to 290, but nerfed use animation from 12 to 24 and shot speed from 14 to 11. It now fires 3 flames instead of 2-3. Flames now pass through tiles, pierce 6 times instead of infinitely, lose 25% damage on each hit, last 0.4 seconds instead of 0.27, grant 3 ID-static immunity frames instead of 1 global immunity frame, and inflict God Slayer Inferno for 6 seconds instead of 4.
  • Rebalanced Clinger Staff. Nerfed damage from 118 to 96, but it is now exempt from the pierce resist system.
  • Nerfed Code 2's damage from 54 to 43.
  • Nerfed Cosmic Shiv's damage from 109 to 98. Blades now grant 7 local immunity frames instead of 5.
  • Nerfed Crystal Vile Shard, it now grants 23 local immunity frames instead of 10.
  • Buffed Darklight Greatsword's damage from 72 to 75, and use time from 36 to 30. The sword and its projectiles now inflict Frostbite instead of Frostburn.
  • Nerfed Daybreak's damage from 150 to 125, and use time from 16 to 20. Each stack of Daybroken past the first now only gets 25% effectiveness from the debuff vulnerability and resistance system.
  • Buffed Defiled Greatsword's damage from 112 to 124. Blazing phantom blades now pierce 4 times instead of 2, last 3.5 seconds instead of 3, and inflict Hellfire instead of On Fire!. Hyper blades now last 2.5 seconds instead of 2, home in faster and from a farther distance, and inflict Cursed Inferno for 3 seconds instead of 2. Sunlight blades now pierce 5 times instead of 2, and last 2.5 seconds instead of 1.5.
  • Nerfed Disseminator's damage from 52 to 48, and use time from 30 to 35.
  • Rebalanced Dragoon Drizzlefish. Nerfed damage from 20 to 18, and knockback from 2 to 1.1. Splitting fireballs now pierce infinitely instead of 4 times, split after 0.75 seconds instead of 0.5, and inflict Hellfire for 2 seconds instead of On Fire! for 3 seconds. Split fireballs no longer pierce, and now inflict Hellfire for 1 second instead of On Fire! for 2 seconds. Gravity-affected fireballs now inflict Hellfire for 0.67 seconds instead of On Fire! for 3 seconds, or Brimstone Flames for 0.33 seconds instead of 1.
  • Rebalanced Dynamic Pursuer. Buffed damage from 2550 to 2850 and charge usage from 0.5 to 0.4, but nerfed shot speed from 18 to 17. Lightning now deals 40% base damage instead of 30%.
  • Rebalanced Eidolic Wail. Buffed damage from 126 to 1248 and shot speed from 8 to 14.5, but nerfed mana cost from 10 to 30. Projectiles now pierce 6 times instead of infinitely, and lose 25% damage on each hit.
  • Rebalanced Elemental Disk. Nerfed damage from 100 to 92 and use time from 15 to 16, but buffed shot speed from 13 to 15. Stealth strikes now have a 75% damage modifier, but no longer hit half as often. Split disks now spawn every 1 second instead of 0.83 on normal attacks, and every 0.66 seconds instead of 0.58 on stealth strikes. Decreased the split disk cap from 25 to 16. Stealth strike disks now last 2x as long instead of 3x and now return to the player faster. Stealth strike split disks now last 1 second instead of 1.5, grant 8 ID-static immunity frames instead of 6, and can no longer proc projectile effects from rogue accessories.
  • Rebalanced Elemental Eruption. Buffed damage from 77 to 94 and use time from 14 to 6, but nerfed shot speed from 10 to 9. It now fires in longer bursts of flames, and additionally fires pairs of homing elemental flares. Flames now pierce 4 times instead of once, last 0.4 seconds instead of 0.375, and grant -1 local immunity frames instead of 9. It now has a 70% chance to not consume ammo instead of 90%.
  • Nerfed Elemental Shiv, the shortsword now grants -1 local immunity frames instead of 8.
  • Rebalanced Elf Melter. Nerfed damage from 94 to 53, but buffed shot speed from 28.5 to 30.5, and flames now grant 5 ID-static immunity frames instead of 10.
  • Increased The Enforcer's essence flame homing range.
  • Rebalanced Eventide. Nerfed damage from 50 to 42, but converted arrows now pierce 6 times instead of 4, and have an extra update.

  • Rebalanced Halley's Inferno. Nerfed damage from 1125 to 444 and shot speed from 14.6 to 12, but buffed use time from 39 to 5, use animation from 39 to 25, and knockback from 5 to 5.5. It now fires in bursts of 5 comets. Comets are now larger, can pass through tiles, pierce 4 times instead of 3, have 14 extra updates instead of 9, last 0.33 seconds instead of 0.25, grant -1 local immunity frames, and inflict Nightwither for 7.5 seconds instead of 4.
  • Rebalanced Havoc's Breath. Nerfed damage from 67 to 60 and use animation from 30 to 35, but buffed use time from 9 to 5. It now fires 2 flames per use instead of 1, but flames now have a random spread. Flames now have 2 extra updates instead of 3, last 0.33 seconds instead of 0.375, and grant 6 ID-static immunity frames instead of 7 global immunity frames. It no longer has a 50% chance to not consume ammo.
  • Nerfed Hell's Sun's damage from 240 to 200, and stealth strike damage modifier from 12% to 10%.
  • Buffed Hornet Staff, it now fires every 0.67 seconds instead of 1.5, and wearing Hive Pack boosts its attack speed by 25% instead of 22.22%. Stingers now always inflict Poisoned for 3 seconds.
  • Buffed Imp Staff's damage from 17 to 25. Imps now fire every 0.625-1.25 seconds instead of 2, and can attack through tiles while a boss is alive. Fireballs now pass through tiles, and are twice as large.
  • Nerfed Kraken's damage from 95 to 85.
  • Nerfed Lazhar's damage from 80 to 76. Explosions now deal 50% base damage.
  • Rebalanced Meowthrower. Nerfed use animation from 8 to 32, but buffed shot speed from 5.5 to 8. It now fires 2 flames per use instead of 1, and additionally fires homing cat projectiles. Flames now grant 8 ID-static immunity frames instead of 10, but now pierce twice instead of 4 times. It no longer has an 85% chance to not consume ammo.
  • Rebalanced Meteor Fist. Nerfed stealth strike damage modifier from 700% to 360%, but stealth strikes now explode on all hits again.
  • Nerfed Mortar Round's knockback from 7.5 to 7, and decreased its explosion size.
  • Rebalanced Murasama. Nerfed damage from 3001 to 2222, but buffed critical strike chance from 34% to 65%. It no longer has a 200% size modifier, but now grants 6 ID-static immunity frames instead of 21. Every third swing of the blade now deals 200% base damage. It is now unlocked after defeating Devourer of Gods instead of Yharon, and can no longer be unlocked early by using certain player names.
  • Nerfed The Old Reaper, stealth strike scythes now deal 45% base damage.
  • Nerfed Opal Striker's charged blast damage from 600% base damage to 430%.
  • Nerfed Pestilent Defiler's damage from 110 to 105.
  • Nerfed Phantasm's damage from 50 to 48.
  • Rebalanced Photoviscerator. Buffed damage from 130 to 445 and right click use time from 27 to 20, but nerfed left click use time from 2 to 10 and shot speed from 18 to 6. Left click now fires a solid beam of light instead of functioning like a standard flamethrower, which grants 6 ID-static immunity frames instead of 5. Right click now deals 50% base damage. Right click flares now pierce 4 times instead of infinitely, bounce off tiles instead of passing through them, last 7 seconds instead of 3, and grant 22 local immunity frames instead of -1. It now has a 95% chance to not consume ammo instead of 90%.
  • Nerfed Plague Staff's damage from 78 to 70.
  • Planetary Annihilation's rainbow bolts can now pass through tiles.
  • Nerfed Prideful Hunter's Planar Ripper's damage from 86 to 74.
  • Rebalanced Pristine Fury. Buffed damage from 77 to 80, but nerfed right click use time from 5 to 6. Left click no longer deals 94% base damage. Right click now fires 2 lingering flames per use instead of 3, and no longer deals 120% base damage. Lingering flames now grant 2 ID-static immunity frames instead of 3.
  • Rebalanced Rainbow Gun. Buffed damage from 45 to 60, but nerfed mana cost from 20 to 40.
  • Rebalanced Raven Staff. Nerfed damage from 55 to 36, but ravens now charge faster, and grant 10 local immunity frames.
  • Buffed Razorblade Typhoon's damage from 85 to 103.
  • Buffed Reality Rupture's use time from 43 to 37.

  • Nerfed The Sevens Striker. Doubles oranges no longer deal 200% base damage, and now last 5 seconds instead of 8. Triples cherries now last 5 seconds instead of 8, and spawn 2 split cherries instead of 3. Split cherries now deal 33% base damage instead of 40%, and last 2.5 seconds instead of 4. Triples grapes now pierce twice instead of infinitely, and last 5 seconds instead of 8. Jackpot platinum coin bursts are now fired every 7 frames instead of 5.
  • Rebalanced Shadethrower. Nerfed use animation from 10 to 30, but flames now grant 10 ID-static immunity frames. It no longer has a 66% chance to not consume ammo.

  • Rebalanced Shard of Antumbra. Nerfed damage from 450 to 240, but it now loses 10% damage on each hit instead of 20%.

Extra projectiles now deal 40% main projectile damage instead of 50% and pierce once instead of 3 times, but now have 2 extra updates.
  • Rebalanced Terra Flameburster. Buffed damage from 55 to 78 and shot speed from 7.5 to 10, but nerfed use time from 3 to 8. It now fires in long bursts of flames, and additionally fires pairs of homing terra flares. Flames now pierce 3 times instead of infinitely, last 0.4 seconds instead of 0.5, and grant -1 local immunity frames instead of 5 global immunity frames. It no longer inflicts Cursed Inferno. It now has a 50% chance to not consume ammo instead of 80%.
  • Buffed Terratomere's damage from 303 to 370.

  • Changed how Defense damage works:
    • Defense damage taken is now 33% of damage mitigated instead of 10% of damage taken.

Reworks

  • Reworked Ascendant Insignia, it no longer increases melee damage and true melee damage by 15%, increases damage by 10% when below 50% health, increases melee knockback, or makes melee attacks inflict Holy Flames. It now increases flight time by 30%, movement speed and jump speed by 10%, and acceleration by 1.1x. Pressing the Ascendant Insignia Hotkey key will grant the player infinite flight for 4 seconds. This ability has a 40 second cooldown.
  • Reworked Barinade, it no longer converts Wooden Arrows into electric arrows that explode on death. It now fires 2 arrows at once, and converts all arrows into extremely fast fin arrows that converge at the cursor. Nerfed damage from 9 to 4, but buffed use time from 26 to 22, knockback from 2 to 2.2, and shot speed from 14 to 15.
  • Reworked Blight Spewer, it no longer functions like a standard flamethrower. It now fires nanomachine clouds that linger for 1.11 seconds before disappearing. Hitting a tile or enemy makes the clouds linger longer, and clouds will lock onto enemies that they hit. Nerfed damage from 110 to 52, use time from 10 to 19, knockback from 2 to 1.5, and shot speed from 7.5 to 7. It now has a 40% chance to not consume ammo.
  • Reworked Bloodflare Core, it no longer directly reduces defense when hit, then regenerates it to heal 1 health for each point regained. It now makes all hits deal at least half the player's total defense in defense damage, and makes recovering defense damage heal 1 health for each defense point regained.
  • Reworked Brittle Star Staff. Brittle stars now shatter after damaging an enemy 4 times, quickly regenerating afterwards. Right clicking causes all active brittle stars to stop attacking and orbit around the player. While orbiting, brittle stars still deal damage, do not shatter, and each brittle star grants the player 3 defense. Nerfed damage from 11 to 10, but minions now grant 15 local immunity frames instead of 35.
  • Reworked Chalice of the Blood God, it no longer halves contact damage on a 20 second cooldown or increases healing potion health boost. It now reduces all damage taken to at most 5 damage, but converts the rest of the damage taken into damage over time bleeding. This bleeding functions separately from standard life regeneration. Drinking a healing potion while bleeding will remove half of the remaining bleed damage. If the accessory is unequipped while bleeding, the remaining bleed damage is dealt instantly. Buffed max health boost from 15% to 25%.
  • Reworked Dead Sun's Wind, it no longer functions like a standard flamethrower. It now fires a concentrated plasma blast which explodes on enemy hits, dealing 150% base damage. The size of the explosion scales on consecutive hits. If the plasma blast hits a tile, it will bounce off and gain the ability to home in on enemies. Buffed damage from 80 to 100, but nerfed use time from 6 to 22.
  • Reworked Dragon's Breath, it no longer fires spreads of normal bullets along with Draconic Bullets, or fires random spreads of normal bullets and Draconic Bullets on right click. It now consumes Gel instead of bullets, and shoots a stream of fireballs whose firing speed gets faster the longer the weapon is used. These fireballs pierce infinitely but lose 20% damage on each hit. After firing for long enough, a cartridge is used, causing no Gel to be consumed and unleashing a solid beam of fire. The firing speed resets after the cartridge is ejected. Buffed damage from 162 to 454 and use time from 9 to 5, but nerfed knockback from 6.5 to 4.5 and shot speed from 12 to 3.5. It now has an 80% chance to not consume ammo instead of 66%.
  • Reworked Kingsbane, it now takes 1.5 seconds to rev up before firing bullets. Releasing left click after the gun is revved up causes a stream of 50 Auric Bullets to be fired before the gun stops firing, causing recoil. Auric Bullets travel extremely fast, home in on enemies, have an innate 50 armor penetration, and inflict Electrified for 5 seconds. Nerfed damage from 275 to 245.
  • Reworked Mineral Mortar, it no longer fires slow onyx bombs that explode into homing sharks on death. It now charges up to fire a fast onyx bomb which is affected by gravity. These onyx bombs create a large explosion on death, and are affected by all rocket types. Buffed damage from 30 to 85, knockback from 5 to 20, and shot speed from 14 to 25, but nerfed use time from 33 to 60. It no longer inflicts Armor Crunch.
  • Reworked Ocean Crest, it no longer provides water breathing or makes ocean enemies friendly. It now causes the player to recover air while standing still underwater, and increases mining speed by 15% while wet.
  • Reworked Overloaded Blaster, it no longer fires slow, piercing slime bolts. It now shoots piercing slime bolts which eventually slow down and stop after traveling a medium distance, becoming overloaded. When overloaded, slime bolts deal 200% base damage but no longer pierce. If a bolt hits a tile, it will bounce off at high speed. Buffed damage from 16 to 19, but nerfed use time from 16 to 22 and shot speed from 6.5 to 5. It now fires 3 bolts per use instead of 5, and now has a 25% chance to not consume ammo instead of 33%.
  • Reworked P90, it now converts all bullets into special P90 rounds. These rounds travel extremely fast and have an innate 15 armor penetration. Nerfed damage from 8 to 5, but buffed effective use time from 5 to 4.
  • Reworked Roxcalibur, it no longer performs a normal broadsword swing while firing rock shards on left click, or performs a slam on right click. It now has a custom swing animation, and holding down left click charges up an overhead swing of the sword. Releasing left click performs a different attack based on the cursor's position. If the cursor is above the player, the sword is swung forward, releasing rock shards and dealing up to 250% base damage. If the cursor is below the player, the player slams downwards with the sword, bouncing off struck enemies and dealing up to 350% base damage. Buffed damage from 150 to 180 and use time from 64 to 40, but nerfed shot speed from 10 to 4.
  • Reworked Sahara Slicers, it no longer releases sparks when hitting enemies. It now quickly stabs with a pair of dual daggers. Hitting enemies with the daggers gives 2 bolts behind the player on each hit, up to a maximum of 10. Right clicking will throw one of the bolts towards the cursor. Nerfed use time from 12 to 18, but buffed knockback from 5.5 to 6 and shot speed from 2 to 3.3.
  • Reworked Downpour and Sandstream Scepter, they no longer fire a water stream that drips extra trails of water. They now fire a fast sand blast that quickly loses velocity when it hits an enemy. The sand blast pierces once, and explodes on death. Buffed Sandstream Scepter's damage from 14 to 16, use time from 33 to 20, mana cost from 8 to 4, and shot speed from 10 to 11, but nerfed knockback from 2 to 1.
  • Reworked Scourge of the Desert, it no longer gains speed as it travels, and stealth strikes no longer gain damage as they travel. It now throws a javelin that can burrow into tiles and launch itself at enemies. Stealth strikes now throw 3 javelins that burrow multiple times. Nerfed damage from 16 to 12 and use time from 20 to 24. Stealth strikes now have a 65% damage modifier.

Additional Changes

  • Aqua's Scepter now uses glowmasks on its raincloud.
  • Aquatic Scourge's bestiary entry now counts it as a boss.
