The 1.1.7.971 update made several changes to the Jungle Dragon, Yharon and Supreme Calamitas fights, along with buffing the Solar Eclipse event after Yharon has been defeated for the first time. This update was the final version in the 1.1 series of updates.

Changes

Bosses and Enemies

  • Mothrons are now immune to the instakill effects from Exoblade and accessories such as Elemental Gauntlet.

Astrum Deus

  • Buffed laser damage from 50 / 84 Expert Mode to 80 / 136 Expert Mode.
  • Buffed Astrum Deus Probe variant 1's laser damage from 46 / 80 Expert Mode to 96 / 160 Expert Mode, variant 2's laser damage from 46 / 80 Expert Mode to 118 / 200 Expert Mode, and variant 3's laser damage from 56 / 100 Expert Mode to 80 / 132 Expert Mode.
  • Increased health-based defense scaling.
  • Now starts shooting lasers more frequently once it reaches 65% and 30% health, in addition to its other health-based laser frequency increases.
  • Halved the laser frequency boost it gains at 40% health.
  • Astrum Deus Probe variants 1 and 2 now instantly despawn if Astrum Deus is defeated or despawns.
  • Body segments now take 33% damage from Bee Cloak, Holy Arrow, Star Cloak, and Star Veil's stars.

The Destroyer

  • Now takes 33% damage from Bee Cloak, Holy Arrow, Star Cloak, and Star Veil's stars in Revengeance Mode.

The Devourer of Gods

  • No longer spawns with a second Devourer of Gods in Revengeance Mode, and now spawns it at 25% health.
  • "Nothing personal, kid" status message moved from 50% health to 25%.
  • Removed period from 25% health message.

Golem

  • Removed period from Plague and Ravager status messages.

Jungle Dragon, Yharon

  • Now has two large infernadoes that persist for the entire fight.
  • Removed distance-based enrage.
  • Reduced player acceleration-based speed scaling.
  • Reduced amount of flarenadoes spawned during the fight.
  • Buffed fireball Detonating Flame health from 1500 / 2100 Expert Mode to 20,000 / 28,000 Expert Mode, contact damage from 100 / 140 Expert Mode to 250 / 350 Expert Mode, fireball damage from 140 / 240 Expert Mode to 200 / 368 Expert Mode, and defense from 100 to 150.
  • Buffed melee Detonating Flame health from 2000 / 2800 Expert Mode to 25,000 / 35,000 Expert Mode, damage from 160 / 224 Expert Mode to 300 / 420 Expert Mode, and defense from 120 to 150.
  • Now immune to Exo Freeze.
  • Detonating Flames and most projectiles now have orange color filters and produce less dust.

Plantera

  • Removed periods from Leviathan status message.

Providence, the Profaned God

Supreme Calamitas

  • Nerfed contact damage from 750 / 1200 Expert Mode to 600 / 960 Expert Mode, and defense from 370 to 350.
  • Nerfed Brimstone Fireblast, Barrage, and Gigablast damages from 264 / 460 Expert Mode to 220 / 400 Expert Mode.
  • Nerfed Hellblast damage from 300 / 560 Expert Mode to 220 / 400 Expert Mode.
  • Buffed the brothers' Hellblast damage from 180 / 320 Expert Mode to 280 / 480 Expert Mode.
  • Decreased health-based aggression.
  • Brimstone Barrages, Fireblasts, Gigablasts, and Hellfireballs now inflict Abyssal Flames.
  • Supreme Calamitas and her brothers are now immune to Exo Freeze.
  • Now forces the player to take at least 200 damage from any hit.
  • Increased Calamitous Essence drop count from 5-8 to 10-20.
  • Can no longer drop pieces of Demonshade armor.

Items

Other

  • Abyssal Flames can now be inflicted on the player.
  • Defeating Jungle Dragon, Yharon now causes the Solar Eclipse event to gain massively increased stats, with Mothrons dropping Darksun Fragments.
  • Defeating Moon Lord in Revengeance Mode now permanently reduces life regeneration by 5.
