The Wulfrum Rover is a Pre-Hardmode enemy found on the Surface during the day. It is initially stationary, but when it detects a player, it attacks by sliding towards them in order to deal contact damage. It is incapable of moving up non-slope blocks.
It can be supercharged by the Wulfrum Amplifier enemy, causing its lights to turn from green to blue and gaining a temporary energy shield which increases its defense.
Notes
- In the Get fixed boi seed; the following changes are applied:
- It becomes immune to knockback.
- Gains a 200% size modifier.
- Constantly drops proximity mines which explode if the player walks on them.
- In Legendary Mode, it gains more defense both normally and while supercharged, and will drop mines even faster.
Trivia
- The
Bestiary entry for the Wulfrum Rover: "The most simple of the Wulfrum Machines, and the honorary mascot of those who rebelled against Yharim. Its small stature and eager movements may remind some of a dog, but don't be deceived; in the chaos of battle, a Rover is still dangerous."
- The name of the enemy, as well as the accessory it drops, are partially in reference to a former mod developer and wiki editor RoverdriveX.
History

- 2.0.3.007:
- Now becomes immune to knockback, gains a 200% size modifier, and constantly drops proximity mines in Get fixed boi. In Legendary Mode, it gains more defense both normally and while supercharged, and drops mines even faster.
- Fixed it not spawning properly in Don't dig up and Get fixed boi worlds.
- 2.0.1.001: Now has proper gores.
- 1.5.1.001:
- Decreased spawn rate by 80% in Hardmode.
- Can now perform a small jump if interrupted by blocks.
- Now vulnerable to electricity debuffs but resistant to sickness debuffs.
- 1.5.0.003: Decreased movement speed by 25%.
- 1.4.5.006: Now has a 7% chance to drop the Wulfrum Battery.
