Calamity Eyes are Pre-Hardmode enemies that spawn in the Brimstone Crag. They act like Demon Eyes, but will inflict the Brimstone Flames and Weak debuffs on contact. When below half health, their speed and maneuverability increase.
In Death Mode, Calamity Eyes are capable of becoming intangible and passing through blocks for a brief period of time, in order to reach the player.
After Providence, the Profaned Goddess is defeated, their stats receive a significant boost and they begin dropping Bloodstone.

Bestiary entry for the Calamity Eye: "Born from the ashes of the battle between the witch and the elemental, these eye-like creatures are the weakest and most mundane of the Crag’s new inhabitants. Yet even they pose a threat to those who intrude upon their sacred grounds."

- Now spawns in the Brimstone Crag at any time instead of the surface at night after defeating Plantera.

- Now gains increased stats after defeating Providence.
