The Wulfrum Gyrator is a Pre-Hardmode enemy that spawns on the surface during the day. Initially, it remains in one place, jumping periodically. When it detects a player, it attacks by rolling quickly and jumping towards them.
It can be supercharged by the Wulfrum Amplifier enemy, causing its lights to turn from green to blue and increasing its speed and jump height.
Notes
- In the Get fixed boi seed, Wulfrum Gyrators animate twice as fast and are always aggressive regardless of distance.
- In Legendary Mode, its velocity constantly increases as it travels, and it will drop sparks while supercharged.
Trivia
- The
Bestiary entry for the Wulfrum Gyrator: "One of the more advanced Wulfrum machines, they hop and roll unpredictably in an attempt to throw off any attacks from afar. Gyrators are not very threatening on their own, and were mostly deployed to defend other more important machines."
