Crimson Slime Spawns are boss servant slimes summoned during The Slime God battle when the Crimulan Paladin takes damage. They behave like normal slimes and always inflict Darkness.

Trivia

  • The BestiaryBestiary entry for the Crimson Slime Spawn: "Slimes are extraordinarily hardy creatures: if a large slime has chunks of living gelatin severed from it, the chunks tend to continue on, albeit as their own beings.They even retain the memories of the original slime, and so continue to work in the interest of their "parent"."

  • 2.0.3.007: Fixed its bestiary entry using the wrong quotation mark.
  • 2.0.3.002: Now affected by the Boss Health Boost Percentage configuration option.
  • 2.0.2.002: Now properly displays vanilla debuff colors and Hunter Potion effects.
  • 1.5.1.001: Now vulnerable to heat debuffs, but resistant to sickness debuffs.
  • 1.5.0.001:
    • No longer immune to any debuffs except Confused, Pearl Aura, and Poisoned.
    • Increased Darkness duration from 1 second to 1.5.
    • No longer drops Hearts in Revengeance or Malice Mode.
    • Now drops Blindfold instead of Nazar at a 1% / 2% Expert Mode chance.
