The Cuttlefish is an enemy that spawns in the second layer of the Abyss. It stays invisible on the ground, waiting for the player to come near and attack them. Unlike most Abyss enemies, it does not become passive again even if the player didn't hit it.
Trivia
- The Bestiary entry for the Cuttlefish: "Using natural camouflage to hide from greater predators and catch unsuspecting prey, cuttlefish wait patiently on the ground for their time to strike. They chase other creatures relentlessly once disturbed, with ferocity enough to scare off any of their would-be predators."
- The behavior of the Cuttlefish shares many similarities with its real-life counterpart; both hide with camouflage in an attempt to sneak up on their prey.
