The Shadowbolt Staff is a craftable post-Moon Lord wand that is a direct upgrade to the Shadowbeam Staff. When used, it fires a purple beam that bounces on tiles and pierces up to 5 times. Each time the beam bounces off a tile, the damage of the beam increases by 15%. For each enemy the beam pierces, the damage of the beam increases by 10%.

Its best modifier is Mythical.

  • Unlike the Shadowbeam Staff, the Shadowbolt Staff can hit the same target multiple times if its hitbox is large enough.

  • Increased sell price from 26 Gold Coin to 35 Gold Coin.

    • On-hit effects no longer activate on Target Dummies.
    • Beam now bounces 10 times instead of 15, increased the amount of damage gained from each bounce, and now hits every 4 frames instead of 2.
    • Now requires a Draedon's Forge to craft instead of an Ancient Manipulator.
    • Removed the line, "Fires a beam of shadow energy that bounces" from tooltip.
