The 2.0.3.002 (or 2.0.3.2) update fixed various errors from the previous update and reworked several accessories.

  • The following boss minions are now affected by the Boss Health Boost Percentage configuration option:
    • Aquatic Aberration, Aureus Spawn, Brimling, Brimstone Heart, Cosmic Guardian, Cosmic Lantern, Cosmic Mine, Corrupt Slime Spawn, Crab Shroom, Crimson Slime Spawn, Crimson Slime Spawn (spiked), Cryogen's Shield, Dank Creeper, Dark Heart, Desert Nuisance, Draconic Swarmer, Flame Pillar, Hive Blob, Ice Shield, Phantom, Plague Homing Missile, Plague Mine, Rock Pillar, Sepulcher, Soul Seeker, Sulphurous Sharkron, Supreme Soul Seeker, and Tooth Ball.

    • Nerfed charging Fabstaff ray's damage from 100% to 66.67% of Cirrus' contact damage and ray speed by 40%.
  • Nerfed XB-∞ Hekate's neuron laser damage from 444 / 888 Expert Mode / 1332 Master Mode to 222 / 444 Expert Mode / 666 Master Mode.

Balance

Armor and Accessories

  • Nerfed Chlorophyte armor's set bonus pulse damage from 300 to 250, pulse lifetime from 1.58 seconds to 1, and halved the pulse radius. Each hit with the pulse now reduces the damage of subsequent pulse hits by 20%.
  • Craw Carapace now increases damage by 5% instead of defense by 5. Reduced the amount of damage reflected from 50% to 25%, but the reflected enemy is now inflicted with Armor Crunch for 12 seconds when taking damage.
  • Giant Shell now reduces dash speed by 10% instead of movement speed by 15%. Taking damage now removes the defense boost and dash speed reduction instead of increasing movement speed by 40%.
  • Buffed Giant Tortoise Shell's defense boost from 14 to 15 and it now grants 5% damage reduction. It no longer provides immunity to Armor Crunch. It now reduces dash speed by 15% instead of movement speed by 10%. Taking damage now removes the defense boost, damage reduction boost, and dash speed reduction instead of reflecting 25% of the damage back to the enemy.

Weapons

  • Rebalanced Air Spinner. Nerfed effective local immunity frames from 10 to 15, but buffed air time from 4 seconds to 30, range from 18.75 tiles to 20, and effective top speed from 21 to 32. The yoyo is no longer 5% larger.
  • Rebalanced Amarok. Nerfed effective local immunity frames from 10 to 12, but buffed air time from 11 seconds to infinite, range from 16.875 tiles to 27, and effective top speed from 14 to 28.
  • Rebalanced Amazon. Nerfed effective local immunity frames from 10 to 20, but buffed air time from 8 seconds to 20, range from 13.4375 tiles to 18, and effective top speed from 14 to 17.
  • Nerfed Amber Staff's delay between bursts from 10 to 15.
  • Rebalanced Aorta. Nerfed effective local immunity frames from 10 to 15, but buffed air time from 5.5 seconds to 24, range from 16.25 tiles to 20, and effective top speed from 17 to 25.
  • Rebalanced Aqua Scepter. Buffed damage from 21 to 27 but nerfed effective velocity from 75 to 37.5.

  • Nerfed Axe of Regrowth's axe power from 150% to 125%.
  • Buffed Azathoth's effective local immunity frames from 3 to 2, range from 43.75 tiles to 55, effective top speed from 36 to 60, and increased orb spawning rate by 50%. The yoyo is no longer 20% larger.
  • Nerfed Bee Keeper's damage from 60 to 30 and it no longer has a 120% size modifier.
  • Nerfed Blade of Grass' damage from 35 to 18 and it no longer has a 180% size modifier.

  • Fallen Paladin's Hammer, Galaxy Smasher, and Stellar Contempt spectral hammers now take 0.7 seconds to begin homing instead of 0.92, and now decelerate more heavily as they are spawned. Adjusted their backup homing motion to be faster.
  • Rebalanced Fault Line. Nerfed damage from 88 to 75 and explosion damage from 100% base damage to 50%, but buffed air time from 7 seconds to infinite, range from 26.25 tiles to 30, and effective top speed from 26 to 40. The yoyo is no longer 15% larger.

  • Rebalanced The Obliterator. Nerfed damage from 255 to 250 and effective local immunity frames from 3 to 6, but buffed range from 40 tiles to 45 and effective top speed from 26 to 54. Lasers now deal 100% base damage instead of 50%, spawn closer to the center of the yoyo, and knockback now scales with the yoyo's knockback. The yoyo is no longer 60% larger.
  • Buffed Oblivion's range from 25 tiles to 32 and effective top speed from 33 to 36. The yoyo is no longer 10% larger.
  • Buffed Obsidian Swordfish's damage from 45 to 70.
  • Rebalanced The Oracle. Nerfed aura local immunity frames from 10 to 12, charge per hit from 4.5 to 4, and orb damage from 300% base damage to 200% but buffed the yoyo's effective local immunity frames from 7 to 6 and effective top speed from 48 to 60. The yoyo is no longer 20% larger.

  • Rebalanced Quagmire. Buffed air time from 12 seconds to infinite, range from 25 tiles to 30, and effective top speed from 15 to 36. Spore clouds now have a random base speed instead of entirely being based on the yoyo's speed, and all deal 50% base damage instead of 50% to 70% depending on the cloud variant. The yoyo is no longer 25% larger.
  • Rebalanced Rally. Nerfed damage from 20 to 18 and effective local immunity frames from 10 to 20, but buffed air time from 5 seconds to 16, range from 10.625 tiles to 17, and effective top speed from 13 to 17.

Bubbles now travel 25% faster but last 1 second instead of 2.   • Rebalanced Yin-Yo. Nerfed damage from 50 to 44, effective local immunity frames from 10 to 12, and effective top speed from 34 to 32, but buffed air time from 7 seconds to infinite and range from 21.875 tiles to 25. Shards now deal 50% base damage instead of 100%, last 2 seconds instead of 5, switch directions twice as often, pierce twice instead of infinitely, and now grant 30 local immunity frames.

Other

  • Reverted a nerf which slowed down the regeneration gain while resting in Beds or sitting on Chairs.
  • Decreased Gelatinous Pillion's horizontal speed deceleration rate from 0.935 to 0.95 per frame.

Reworks

  • Reworked The Absorber, it no longer grants 7% damage reduction, 20 max health and mana, increases life and mana regeneration when standing still, emits a cloud of mushroom spores when hit, or grants immunity to Armor Crunch. Enemies that touch the player are now inflicted with the Absorber Affliction debuff for 30 seconds, which reduces damage reduction by 30%. It now spawns an aura when using a healing potion which lasts for 45 seconds. Entering the aura will cleanse all debuffs and remove defense damage from the player, but only once. While inside the aura and for 15 seconds after leaving it, the player is granted the Regeneraga buff, increasing damage by 10%, damage reduction by 7%, and life regeneration by 7. Buffed defense boost from 15 to 16, thorns effect from 50% to 350%, and movement speed and jump speed boosts from 5% to 10%.
  • Reworked Blazing Core, it no longer spawns a miniature sun when hit that drags in nearby enemies and deals damage. Pressing the Blazing Core Parry key will now briefly encase the player in a crystal. Being hit while encased will shatter the crystal, reducing damage to 1 and causing waves of holy stars to spiral outwards. The damage reduction effect has a 30 second cooldown. If another encasement is shattered while on cooldown, healing stars will be interspersed in the waves of stars.
  • Reworked Cleansing Jelly, it no longer boosts max mana by 20 or increases mana regeneration when standing still. It now spawns an aura when using a healing potion which lasts for 45 seconds. Entering the aura will cleanse all debuffs and remove defense damage from the player, but only once.

While inside the aura and for 8 seconds after leaving it, the player is granted the Green Jelly Regen buff, increasing life regeneration by 6.
  • Reworked Gravistar Sabaton, it no longer makes pressing ▼ Down increase fall speed for 5 seconds on an 8 second cooldown or makes astral explosions when falling faster. It now increases jump speed by 20% and grants immunity to fall damage while equipped. Holding the Gravistar Sabaton key while in midair for 1 second will now charge up a superspeed slam. While slamming, the player rams through enemies and takes no contact damage. Hitting the ground creates an explosion that scales in size and damage depending on how long the slam lasted. After slamming, jump speed is increased by 40% for 0.66 seconds.
  • Reworked Life Jelly, it no longer boosts max health by 20 or increases life regeneration when standing still. It now spawns an aura when using a healing potion which lasts for 45 seconds. While inside the aura and for 5 seconds after leaving it, the player is granted the Pink Jelly Regen buff, increasing life regeneration by 4.
  • Reworked Old Duke's Scales, it no longer increases damage and critical strike chance as health lowers or while under the effects of a damaging debuff, and no longer grants immunity to Poisoned, Acid Venom, and Sulphuric Poisoning. It now increases damage reduction, movement speed, and acceleration by 10%, and dash velocity and length by 25%. While equipped, a stamina meter is added to the cooldown rack which starts at 100% and is consumed by 20% every time the player dashes. Stamina will recover after not dashing for 1 second, and recovers twice as fast when stationary. If stamina reaches 0%, the player becomes exhausted, negating all positive stat boosts and reducing movement speed by 30% and dash velocity by 50%. This debuff last until stamina reaches 100% again.
