The 1.1.7.855 update added the Ambrosial Ampoule and a variety of crafting materials and accessories used to make it. It also split Ataxia and Statigel armor into multiple classes using different helmets and changed immunity mechanics for various projectiles.

The Devourer of Gods

  • Beams no longer inflict Frozen.
  • Projectiles now have consistent hitboxes that line up with their sprites.
  • Bolt, beam, and star projectiles no longer create any dust.

Items

  • The following player projectiles now grant local immunity frames instead of global immunity frames when hitting enemies:
    • Alluvion and Monsoon's water spouts now hit every 6 frames.
    • Ancient Fossil now only applies its mining speed boost when in the Underground or Cavern.
    • Ark of the Ancients' beams now hit every 6 frames.
    • Ark of the Cosmos and Ark of the Elements' pink beams now hit every 6 frames, blue beams hit every 5, green beams hit every 4. and orange beams hit every 3.
    • Asgardian Aegis and Elysian Aegis' holy eruptions now hit every 2 frames.
    • Ataxia armor changes:
      • Nerfed Ataxia Mask's defense from 11 to 9.
      • Nerfed Ataxia Mask's mana cost reduction from 15% to 10%, and max mana boost from 150 to 100.
      • Buffed Ataxia Armor's defense from 18 to 21.
      • Ataxia Armor now provides a 5% damage and critical strike chance boost to all damage types instead of an 8% magic damage boost and a 5% magic critical strike chance boost.
      • Ataxia Armor now provides 50 extra life.
      • Buffed Ataxia Subligar's defense from 13 to 15, and movement speed boost from 12% to 15%.
      • Ataxia Subligar now provides a 7% critical strike chance boost to all damage types instead of a 5% magic critical strike chance boost.
      • Set bonus:
        • Decreased mana cost penalty when losing health from 20% to 5% for each stat change interval.
        • Damage reduction penalties are now applied gradually as health lowers instead of only applying when the player is below 25% health.
        • Now grants a 20% chance to create an explosion when the wearer is hit.
        • Reduced magic damage boost when below 25% health from 25% to 15%.
    • Blissful Bombardier's explosions now hit every 2 frames.
    • Blood Clot Staff's Blood Clots now hit every 7 frames.
    • Carnage Ray and Night's Ray now use 10 Purified Gel in each of their recipes.
    • Dank Staff's Dank Creepers now hit every 7 frames.
    • Elemental Lance's spear now hits every 3 frames, and blue and cyan beams now hit every 6 frames.
    • Fungal Clump's minion now hits every 10 frames.
    • Grand Guardian's explosions now hit every 5 frames.
    • Lifefruit Scythe's scythe projectiles now hit every 4 frames.
    • Megafleet, Nullification Pistol, Plasma Rifle, and Starfleet's plasma explosions now hit every other frame.
    • Nebulous Core's nebula dust now hits every 3 frames.
    • Neptune's Bounty's orbs now hit every other frame.
    • Shadowbolt Staff's beam now hits every 2 frames.
    • Staff of the Mechworm's Mechworm now hits every 4 frames.
    • Statigel armor changes:
      • Buffed Statigel Helm's defense from 7 to 9.
      • Statigel Helm now provides a 7% melee damage and speed boost instead of a 10% throwing damage boost and a 15% throwing velocity boost.
      • Statigel Helm no longer grants an 8% summon damage boost and extra minion slot.
      • Statigel Armor now provides a 5% critical strike chance boost to all damage types instead of just throwing.
      • Statigel Armor no longer provides a 5% throwing damage boost and a 50% chance to not consume consumable throwing weapons.
      • Statigel Greaves now provide a 5% damage boost to all damage types instead of a 10% summon damage boost.
      • Nerfed Statigel Greaves' movement speed boost from 10% to 5%.
      • Set bonus now grants a 5% melee damage boost instead of a 10% summon damage boost when below 50% health.
    • Triactis' True Paladinian Mage-Hammer of Might's explosions now hit every other frame.
    • True Ark of the Ancients' blue beams now hit every 5 frames, and pink beams hit every 4.
    • True Tyrant's Ultisword's Hyper Blades now pierce 5 times instead of 3, now collide with tiles, and now hit every 4 frames.
    • True Tyrant's Ultisword's Sunlight Blades now pierce 3 times instead of 2, now collide with tiles, are no longer affected by gravity, and now hit every 4 frames.
