The Asgardian Aegis is a craftable post-Moon Lord accessory with a wide array of defensive effects. It grants 28 defense, immunity to knockback and most debuffs, +40 max life, increases life regeneration by 1, and an additional 20 defense while submerged in liquid.

While equipped, the wearer can double tap a horizontal movement key to perform a supreme holy flame dash with a base distance of 28 blocks. Striking enemies during the shield dash will heavily damage them, inflict God Slayer Inferno, and spawn holy explosions on top of the them. Every time an enemy is struck, the wearer is given 12 immunity frames.

  • Removed a redundant line in its tooltip.
  • No longer creates holy eruptions on hit.
    • Buffed defense boost from 10 to 28.
    • Now grants immunity to On Fire!.
    • Eruptions now inflict Holy Flames for 4 seconds instead of 5.

  • Now has a dedicated hotkey to toggle buff instead of being toggled with visibility.
  • Fixed a bug which prevented the player from dashing again if they held the movement key down after dashing.
  • Can now have its dash toggled by visibility and reduced its velocity.
  • Nerfed Elysian Guard's damage and critical strike chance boosts from 4% to 2%, and defense boost from 10% to 5%.
    • Buffed life regeneration boost by 2, and nerfed health boost from 150 to 100.
    • Nerfed damage and critical strike chance boosts from Elysian Guard from 8% to 4%, and defense boost from 20% to 10%.
  • Guard now increases damage and critical strike chance by 8% instead of 4%, defense by 20% instead of 10%, decreases movement speed by 25% instead of 50%, and now decreases acceleration and run speed by 60%.
  • Now uses 5 Phantoplasm in its recipe.
  • Now requires a Draedon's Forge to craft instead of an Ancient Manipulator.
  • Explosions now hit every 4 frames.
