Pyre Mantle is a block that generates in the third layer of the Abyss and is also dropped from Devil Fish. It requires at least an Adamantite, Titanium, or Shardlight Pickaxe to mine. It cannot be destroyed with explosives.

Notes

  • Pyre Mantle has a hit point of 1000% pickaxe power, twice as much as Abyss Gravel and Chlorophyte Ore, the second most durable blocks.
    • As such, it takes six hits to break with an Adamantite Pickaxe, and five hits to break with a Pickaxe Axe.

Trivia

  • The word "pyre" is used to describe flammable material, while mantle is a layer of a planet below its crust.
