- Not to be confused with Plagueplate, a similarly-themed Pre-Hardmode block generated in Arsenal Labs.
Plagued Containment Brick is a craftable Hardmode brick crafted from Plague Cell Canisters and Stone Blocks.

- This item was previously known as "Plagued Plate". The name was possibly changed to avoid confusion with the Plagueplate.
History
These history sections are still a work-in-progress, and may not yet contain changes relevant to the current version of the Calamity Mod.
- 2.0.3.005: Can now only be decrafted using shimmer after defeating Golem.
- 2.0.2.001: Now uses 50 Any Stone Blocks in its recipe instead of 10, and now yields 50 instead of 10.
- 1.5.1.001: Now uses the Any Stone Block recipe group instead of Stone Block.
- 1.5.0.003: No longer has a pickaxe power requirement.
- 1.4.5.001:
- Renamed from "Plagued Plate" to "Plagued Containment Brick".
- Now uses 10 Stone Blocks and 1 Plague Cell Canister in its recipe instead of 1 Any Iron Bar and 5 Plague Cell Canisters, and now yields 10 instead of 20.
- 1.4.3.002: Can now be crafted back and forth from Plagued Plate Walls with Plague Infuser instead of a Work Bench.
- 1.4.2.101: Fixed it becoming invisible when placed near Dirt Blocks.
- 1.4.2.004: Fixed some tile drawing errors with placed item on certain lighting modes.
