- The slab has four different possible glyphs that can appear on it that take the form of alchemical symbols. These include:
- 🜏, the Leviathan Cross, the alchemical symbol for sulfur (brimstone).
- Ω, upper-case Omega, the last letter of the Greek alphabet, and also the alchemical symbol for death.
- 🜍, an alternate alchemical symbol for sulfur.
- 🜂, the alchemical symbol for fire.

- 2.1.0:
- Decreased pickaxe power requirement from 180% to 100%, and pickaxe resistance from 5 to 2.
- Fixed it improperly being able to decraft into walls using shimmer.
- Fixed it still drawing glowmasks while invisible through Echo Coating.
- 2.0.3.005: Now uses 1 Smooth Brimstone Slag in its recipe instead of 50 Smooth Brimstone Slag and 1 Unholy Core, and now yields 1 instead of 50.
- 2.0.2.001:
- Now uses 50 Smooth Brimstone Slag in its recipe instead of 4, and now yields 50 instead of 5.
- Tiles now merge with Brimstone Slag.
- 1.4.2.004: Fixed some tile drawing errors with placed item on certain lighting modes.
- 1.4.2.003:
- Now uses stone sounds instead of dirt sounds when hit.
- Changed map icon color from (#646496 ●) to (#281830 ●).
- Now produces dust when mined.
- Now has a pickaxe requirement of 180 and a pickaxe resistance value of 5.
