Ores are crafting materials necessary for game progress. They usually must be crafted into bars, after which they can craft many essential tools, weapons, armor, and other items. Some items require raw ores themselves, most commonly potions. Raw ores can also be used as plain blocks for construction.
The Calamity Mod adds 12 new ores to the game. This page assumes that the Early Hardmode Progression Rework is enabled.

Notes
- All ores except Auric have corresponding enemies (usually Slimes) which drop their respective ore, in order to make the amount obtainable unlimited.
- Prism Shards grow naturally in the Sunken Sea and are dropped by Prism-Backs after the Desert Scourge has been defeated as well as Blinded Anglers, which can be used to craft Sea Prisms.
- Scoria Ore is dropped by Devil Fish and Chaotic Puffers in the Abyss after Golem has been defeated
- Exodium Cluster is dropped by Shockstorm Shuttles in Space after the Moon Lord has been defeated.
- Auric Ore can be found in Titanium Crates after Yharon, Dragon of Rebirth has been defeated.
