The Effigy of Decay is a craftable Pre-Hardmode furniture item that can also be found in Rusty Chests within the Sulphurous Sea. When placed down, all nearby players are granted water-breathing while underwater however the effect does not work in the Abyss. It also grants immunity to the Sulphuric Poisoning debuff and prevents the Sulphurous Sea's Poison Meter from increasing.
