The Rusty Medallion is a craftable Pre-Hardmode accessory that can also be found in Rusty Chests. When equipped, it grants immunity to the Irradiated debuff and makes ranged weapons release an acidic homing droplet from the sky when striking an enemy, with a cooldown of 0.42 seconds. The droplets deal 9 typeless damage which can scale with ranged damage bonuses and behave identically to the droplets from the Flak Toxicannon.

History

- 2.0.1.003:
- Now rains droplets 100% of the time with a 0.42-second cooldown.
- Droplets now deal 9 damage scaled by ranged bonuses instead of 30% weapon damage.
- Decreased amount of droplets from 3 to 1 but droplets now rain towards the target.
- Now found in the Rusty Chest in the lower Sulphurous Sea.
- 1.4.5.003: Droplets now have a soft damage cap of 30.
