The Eclipse Mirror is a craftable post-Moon Lord rogue accessory and the direct upgrade to the Abyssal Mirror and Dark Matter Sheath. It grants the following effects while equipped:

  • +10 maximum stealth
  • +6% rogue damage
  • +6% rogue critical strike chance
  • -700 aggro and -70% Abyss enemy detection radius
  • +25% faster stealth regeneration while standing still
  • +0.5% faster stealth regeneration per tick while moving but not attacking, up to +50%
    • This increases to +0.75% per tick if both the Dark Matter Sheath and Eclipse Mirror are equipped.
    • Uniquely, this does not decrease stealth strike damage and is multiplicative with other sources of stealth regeneration.
  • Stealth strikes only consume and require 50% maximum stealth
  • Ability to dodge attacks
    • After dodging, a blast of darksun light is released, dealing damage in a large area. It also grants the player +50% of their maximum stealth.
    • Dodges do not trigger if an attack deals less than 5% of the player's maximum health. Dodge cooldown depends on how much damage was dodged, ranging from 15 seconds at 5% maximum health to 90 seconds at 50% maximum health. This cooldown is shared with all other regular dodges and reflects.

Notes

  • The rogue stealth increase granted by this accessory only applies if the player is wearing a rogue or Calamity classless armor set.
  • This accessory can be considered the counterpart to the Nanotech, as that accessory is more focused on the damage aspect of the Rogue class, whereas this accessory is more focused on rogue stealth.

History

These history sections are still a work-in-progress, and may not yet contain changes relevant to the current version of the Calamity Mod.
  • 2.0.4.001:
    • Dodge no longer triggers if an attack deals less than 5% of the player's max health, and now has a varying cooldown based on how much damage was dodged, ranging from 15 seconds at 5% max health to 90 seconds at 50% max health.
    • Dodge now grants 80 immunity frames instead of 60, but grants 50% of the stealth meter instead of completely filling it.
    • Increased sell price from 28 Gold Coin to 40 Gold Coin.

  • 2.0.1.002:
    • No longer guarantees critical strike on stealth strikes.
    • Decreased stealth regeneration acceleration.

  • 1.5.1.001: Removed Eclipse Evade Cooldown debuff; it now appears on the cooldown rack.
  • 1.5.0.002: Fixed an issue that allowed its dodge effect to proc on projectiles that deal no damage.
  • 1.5.0.001:
    • Nerfed darksun blast damage from 7000 to 2750.
    • Dodge is now guaranteed, but triggers a 90 second global cooldown with other dodges and reflects.
    • Now uses 20 Darksun Fragments in its recipe instead of 10 Darksun Fragments and 1 Ascendant Spirit Essence, and now requires a Cosmic Anvil to craft instead of a Draedon's Forge.
    • Fixed an exploit that allowed the player to gain two dodges from swapping it and Abyssal Mirror when one or the other's dodge was on cooldown.
    • Fixed explosion drawing issues.
  • 1.4.5.002: Now uses 1 Ascendant Spirit Essence in its recipe instead of 5 Nightmare Fuel and 5 Endothermic Energy.
  • 1.4.5.001: Dodge effect no longer stacks with Ink Bomb or Abyssal Mirror.
  • 1.4.3.002:
    • Nerfed rogue damage and critical strike chance boosts from 8% to 6%, and max stealth boost from 50 to 20.
    • Now causes stealth to generate 20% faster while standing still, and to increase exponentially while moving instead of 20% while moving and exponentially while standing still.
    • Moved the flavor text to the first line of tooltip.
  • 1.4.3.001: Fixed dodge occuring from hostile enemies or projectiles that deal 0 damage.
  • 1.4.2.107: Nerfed max stealth boost from 100 to 50.
