The Eclipse Mirror is a craftable post-Moon Lord rogue accessory that is the final upgrade to the Coin of Deceit, Silencing Sheath, Mirage Mirror, and Ink Bomb. When equipped:

  • The player's maximum rogue stealth is increased by 10.
  • The player's rogue damage and critical strike chance are increased by 6% each.
  • Enemy aggro is reduced by 700.
  • Enemies in the Abyss have their detection radius multiplied by 0.3.
  • The player can build rogue stealth 25% faster while standing still.
  • The player receives an increase to rogue stealth regeneration rate while moving and not attacking.
  • All stealth strikes only require half of the player's maximum stealth to perform.
  • If the player is hit by an enemy, a blast of darksun light will be released, nullifying damage from the hit and massively damaging enemies in a wide area. This effect has a 90 second cooldown and will not trigger again until the cooldown is finished. Additionally, if this effect occurs, the player's stealth will be instantly maxed out.

Notes

  • The evasion's darksun blast has a base damage of 2750.
  • This accessory can be considered the counterpart to the Nanotech, as that focuses more on the damage aspect of the Rogue class, whereas this accessory focuses more on Rogue Stealth.
  • The Rogue Stealth increase granted by this item only applies if wearing a rogue or Calamity classless armor set.

History

These history sections are still a work-in-progress, and may not yet contain changes relevant to the current version of the Calamity Mod.
  • 2.0.1.002:
    • No longer guarantees critical strike on stealth strikes.
    • Decreased stealth regeneration acceleration.
    • Nerfed max stealth boost from 20 to 10.
    • Buffed stealth regeneration boost while standing still from 20% to 25%.
  • 1.5.1.001: Removed Eclipse Evade Cooldown debuff; it now appears on the cooldown rack.
  • 1.5.0.002: Fixed an issue that allowed its dodge effect to proc on projectiles that deal no damage.
  • 1.5.0.001:
    • Nerfed darksun blast damage from 7000 to 2750.
    • Dodge is now guaranteed, but triggers a 90 second global cooldown with other dodges and reflects.
    • Now uses 20 Darksun Fragments in its recipe instead of 10 Darksun Fragments and 1 Ascendant Spirit Essence, and now requires a Cosmic Anvil to craft instead of a Draedon's Forge.
    • Fixed an exploit that allowed the player to gain two dodges from swapping it and Abyssal Mirror when one or the other's dodge was on cooldown.
    • Fixed explosion drawing issues.
  • 1.4.5.002: Now uses 1 Ascendant Spirit Essence in its recipe instead of 5 Nightmare Fuel and 5 Endothermic Energy.
  • 1.4.5.001: Dodge effect no longer stacks with Ink Bomb or Abyssal Mirror.
  • 1.4.3.002:
    • Nerfed rogue damage and critical strike chance boosts from 8% to 6%, and max stealth boost from 50 to 20.
    • Now causes stealth to generate 20% faster while standing still, and to increase exponentially while moving instead of 20% while moving and exponentially while standing still.
    • Moved the flavor text to the first line of tooltip.
  • 1.4.3.001: Fixed dodge occuring from hostile enemies or projectiles that deal 0 damage.
  • 1.4.2.107: Nerfed max stealth boost from 100 to 50.
