The Deep Diver is a Hardmode accessory that drops from the Aquatic Scourge. It grants 8 defense. While the player is submerged in water or honey, damage, movement speed and acceleration are all increased by 15%, the player gains an extra 15 defense while submerged in water or honey, and the player gains the ability to dash a base distance of 36 blocks by double tapping the ◀ Left or ▶ Right key.

Tips

• Using this accessory alongside an item that eliminates water physics such as the Victide armor greatly increases the distance and velocity of the dash.
• This accessory has the longest base dash distance of any dashing item until Statis' Void Sash. This makes it well worth it even in the endgame, providing that the player uses an underwater arena.
