Plague Blackout Recharge
- Not to be confused with Plaguebringer armor, a Hardmode armor set based on the summoner class.
Plague Reaper armor is a craftable Hardmode ranger armor set crafted from Necro armor, Plague Cell Canisters and Nanites. If the entire set is visible (regardless of whether it is equipped or in social slots), the player emits a faint pulsing aura.
It consists of a Plague Reaper Mask, Plague Reaper Vest, and Plague Reaper Striders.
The full set grants the following effects while equipped (this includes the set bonus):
- +34 defense
- +25% ranged damage
- +16% ranged critical strike chance
- +15% movement speed
- +25% chance to not consume ammunition
- +5% flight time
- Immunity to the Plague debuff
- The Plague debuff causes enemies to take 10% more damage from ranged projectiles
- Getting hit causes four plague cinders to rain above the player, which are affected by ranged damage bonuses. Plague cinders linger on the ground for a short amount of time, pierce infinitely, and inflict the Plague debuff.
- Pressing Armor Set Bonus will blind the player for 5 seconds, similarly to being inflicted with the Blackout, Darkness, and Obstructed debuffs. It also provides +60% ranged damage and +20% ranged critical strike chance. This effect has a 25-second cooldown.

Trivia
- The set is based off of plague doctors, which were physicians who treated victims of bubonic plague in 17th-century Europe.
