The Corrosive Spine is a Hardmode accessory that drops from the Aquatic Scourge. It increases defense by 4 and movement speed by 5%. It additionally causes all rogue weapons to inflict the Poisoned debuff and occasionally release green toxic clouds in random directions. For stealth strikes, this effect only triggers for the first three enemies hit. The clouds are also released from the player while their immunity frames are active.

- 2.0.2.001: Nerfed irradiated cloud base damage from 100 to 80.
- 2.0.1.003:
- Now also causes rogue attacks to inflict Poisoned instead of Acid Venom on PvP attacks, instead of exclusively enemy attacks.
- Fixed tooltip still saying that it inflicts Acid Venom instead of Poisoned.
- 2.0.1.002: Nerfed movement speed boost from 10% to 5%.
- 2.0.1.001: Projectiles now inflict Poisoned instead of Acid Venom.
- 1.5.1.001: Clouds now grant 16 local immunity frames instead of 8.
