The Ocean Crest is a Pre-Hardmode accessory that is dropped by the Desert Scourge. When equipped, it allows the player to recover air while standing completely still underwater and increases mining speed by 15% when wet.

Being "wet" is defined as being under any of the following conditions:

• Being above the surface layer while it is raining.
• Being inflicted with the Wet debuff.
• Being submerged in water.
