The Community is an accessory that is dropped by Leviathan and Anahita. When equipped, it grants the player various offensive, defensive, and mobility stat boosts which scale as the player progresses through the game by defeating more bosses.
At its base form, it grants 1% critical strike chance, 2.5% damage, 2% maximum health, 1.25% damage reduction, 2 defense, 2.5% movement speed, and 5% flight time. While the player's life regen is below zero, it also grants 1 life regen.
After defeating every boss, it grants 5% critical strike chance, 10% damage, 10% maximum health, 5% damage reduction, 10 defense, 10% movement speed, and 20% flight time. The amount of life regen granted while the player's life regen is below zero also increases to 3.
Stat Scaling
The Community gains higher power depending on the number of bosses killed within the world. Bosses can be defeated in any order, but defeating bosses later in progression will not count towards bosses earlier in progression. Defeating the same boss multiple times does not have any effects. Bosses which contribute to the item's power level are listed below.

- Though it is technically able to be obtained in Pre-Hardmode, it is extremely difficult to do so and is instead intended to be obtained in the middle of Hardmode.
- If the player is under the effect of one of the alcohols sold by the Drunk Princess while they have The Community equipped, the life regen it provides will be reduced to 1, no matter how many bosses the player has killed.
- The Community cannot be equipped if the player has the Shattered Community equipped and vice versa.

- The item's stat-scaling effects are similar to the damage-scaling effect Legendary weapons had used in previous versions of the mod.
