Bloodflare armor is a craftable post-Moon Lord armor set crafted from Bloodstone Cores and Ruinous Souls. If the full set is visible (whether equipped or in social slots), the player will emit faint pulses.
It consists of the Bloodflare Body Armor and Bloodflare Cuisses, as well as one headpiece for each class: the Bloodflare Ram Mask, Bloodflare Horned Helm, Bloodflare Hydra Hood, Bloodflare Wyvern Helm, and Bloodflare Imp Mask. All headpieces share a general set bonus, and also provide set bonuses specific to their class.
The full set grants the following effects while equipped (this includes the set bonus):
- +98 defense
- +32% ranged damage
- +25% ranged critical strike chance
- +17% movement speed
- Ranged weapons fire bloodsplosion orbs, with a 2.5-second cooldown
- The explosions deal 80% of the weapon's damage and have a soft cap of 120 damage.
- Pressing Armor Set Bonus fires 16 homing bloodflare souls. This effect has a 30-second cooldown.
- The souls deal 300 damage and are affected by ranged damage bonuses.

- +100 maximum mana
- -17% mana usage

- Magic weapons fire ghostly bolts, with a 1.67-second cooldown
- The ghostly bolts deal 130% of the attack's damage and have a soft cap of 2,600 damage.
- Magic critical strikes cause a flame explosion of 3 fireballs, with a 2-second cooldown.
- The fireballs deal 50% of the attack's damage, have a soft cap of 250 damage, and have a 50% chance to inflict the On Fire! debuff for 5 seconds on hit.
- +80 defense
- +77% summon damage
- +3 minion slots
- +17% movement speed
- Summons 3 phantom mines that circle around the player, each exploding on enemy hits
- The phantom mines deal 3750 damage.
- While at or above 90% health:

- +40 maximum health
- 1.5x natural health regeneration and 2x health regen speed (equivalent to Crimson armor)
- Enemies below 50% health will drop a heart when hit. This effect has a 5-second cooldown.

- The lifesteal (from both the melee and rogue helmets), Blood Frenzy, and fireball effects only occur when hitting enemies that have a damage stat of 5 or higher. However, enemies spawned from statues will never trigger the effects.
