The Claret Cannon is a craftable post-Moon Lord gun that shoots bullets in bursts of 3. If Musket Balls are used as ammo, bullets are converted into bloody tears that have a 50% chance to heal the player for 1 HP on a successful hit, making it a good weapon to heal health quickly with against hordes of enemies or large bosses. Each bullet has a use time of 3.

Its best modifier is Unreal. However, Rapid may be preferred for faster healing.

  • The word "claret" can refer to a color of deep red or a variety of French wine. It is also an informal term for blood.

  • 2.0.2.001: No longer inflicts Brimstone Flames.
  • 1.5.1.003: Changed tooltip from "Converts musket balls into strings of 3 bloody tears that drain enemy health" to "Fires strings of 3 bullets / Converts musket balls into bloody tears that drain enemy health".
  • 1.5.1.001: Decreased Brimstone Flames duration from bloody tears from 6 seconds to 3.
  • 1.5.0.001:
    • Nerfed damage from 215 to 140.
    • Now only converts Musket Balls.
  • 1.4.5.003: Changed tooltip to say "bloody tears" instead of "bloodfire bullets".
