Aerospec armor is a craftable Pre-Hardmode armor set crafted from Aerialite Bars, Sunplate Blocks, and Feathers. If the full set is visible (whether equipped or in social slots), the player will emit afterimages.

It consists of the Aerospec Breastplate and Aerospec Leggings, as well as one headpiece for each class: the Aerospec Helm, Aerospec Hood, Aerospec Hat, Aerospec Helmet, and Aerospec Headgear. All headpieces share a general set bonus, and also provide set bonuses specific to their class.

Trivia

• The exact meaning behind the word "Aerospec" is unknown, although it is believed to be a combination of "aero", meaning "air" (as in aerodynamics or aeronautics), and "specialization", similar to the suffix of "Shadowspec".

  • Buffed Aerospec Helm's melee damage boost, Aerospec Hood's ranged damage boost, and Aerospec Headgear's rogue damage boost from 8% to 10%.
  • Buffed Aerospec Hat's max mana boost from 20 to 30, and magic damage boost from 8% to 10%.
  • Buffed Aerospec Helmet's summon damage boost from 5% to 10%.
