The Starbuster Core is a Hardmode accessory that is dropped by Stellar Culex after Astrum Aureus has been defeated. When equipped, it increases the maximum number of minions by 1 and causes all minion attacks to spawn a small astral explosion on enemy hits that deals 40 summon damage. The effect has a 1 second cooldown.

- This accessory can also be obtained from the Astral Crate after Astrum Aureus has been defeated.
- The explosion effect is identical to that of the Star-Tainted Generator, will be overridden by the Nucleogenesis's sparks, and will override Nuclear Fuel Rod's aura and Jelly-Charged Battery's orbs.
