The Old Duke's Scales are a post-Moon Lord accessory that is dropped by The Old Duke. They grant the following effects while equipped:

  • +10% damage reduction
  • +10% movement speed and acceleration
  • +25% dash length and velocity, but a stamina meter appears on the Cooldown Rack, starting at 100%
    • Each dash consumes 20% stamina
    • After not dashing for 1.5 seconds, stamina starts to regenerate. This effect will be 66.7% faster while the player is not moving
    • Upon reaching 0% stamina, the player becomes exhausted. All of this accessory's stat boosts are removed, and it causes -30% movement speed and -50% dash velocity. This effect lasts until stamina reaches 100%.

Notes

  • If the player is moving, recovering from a full loss of stamina takes 6.67 seconds.

History

These history sections are still a work-in-progress, and may not yet contain changes relevant to the current version of the Calamity Mod.
  • 2.0.4.006: Fixed its tooltip stating an incorrect duration for stamina recovery.
  • 2.0.4.003:
    • Decreased how much time it takes to recover stamina from 2 seconds to 1.5.
    • Increased how fast stamina recovers, and faster stamina recovery is now triggered by not holding any movement keys instead of standing still.
  • 2.0.4.001: Increased sell price from 26 Gold Coin to 35 Gold Coin.
  • 2.0.3.002:
    • Reworked:
      • No longer increases damage and critical strike chance as health lowers or while under the effects of a damaging debuff, and no longer grants immunity to Poisoned, Acid Venom, and Sulphuric Poisoning.
      • Now increases damage reduction, movement speed, and acceleration by 10%, and dash velocity and length by 25%.
      • While equipped, a stamina meter is added to the cooldown rack which starts at 100% and is consumed by 20% every time the player dashes. Stamina will recover after not dashing for 1 second, and recovers twice as fast when stationary.
      • If stamina reaches 0%, the player becomes exhausted, negating all positive stat boosts and reducing movement speed by 30% and dash velocity by 50%. This debuff last until stamina reaches 100% again.
