Draedon's Heart is a post-Moon Lord accessory that is dropped by the Exo Mechs. It grants the following effects while equipped:

  • +48 defense
  • +15% contact damage reduction
  • Reworks the Adrenaline Meter (and adds it if Revengeance or Death Mode are not enabled):
    • Adrenaline is replaced with Nanomachines. The meter gradually charges over time while a boss is alive, taking 30 seconds to fill up.
    • Getting hit while the meter is charging will not reset the meter, instead stopping its charging for 1 second.
    • When the meter is full, pressing the Adrenaline Mode key heals the player for 360 HP over 2 seconds and provides +50% damage reduction.

Notes

  • The charge rate of the Nanomachines Meter is affected by Adrenaline charge rate boosts from the Stress Pills and their upgrades.

Trivia

  • This accessory and its survivability benefits are a reference to an ability possessed by the character Senator Armstrong from the game Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. In the game, Armstrong uses nanomachines in his body to become almost invincible.
    • Its flavor text is a direct quote from Armstrong.
    • The source of Armstrong's ability is his cybernetic heart, hence the item's name.
  • Before the 1.5.0.001 update, the accessory was a combination of three Revengeance Mode-exclusive accessories: the Heart of Darkness, Laudanum, and Stress Pills.
  • It can be considered the counterpart to the Shattered Community, as each of these two accessories rework one of the Revengeance Mode meters.
