The 1.4.2.001 update introduced the Sunken Sea biome, along with various items, enemies, and blocks to go along with it including the Sea King Town NPC, and the Giant Clam mini boss. The update also made a variety of balance changes, introduced banners for most of the mod's enemies, and reworked Lava.

    • Changed the Abyss' generation so that it utilizes space more efficiently.
    • Adrenaline now lasts a maximum of 5 seconds instead of 3.
    • Reduced the movement speed boost from Asphalt Blocks by 33%.
    • Increased the maximum health needed for an enemy to appear on the Boss Health Bar from 400 to 800, and Cnidrion can no longer appear on it.
    • Carribean Rum and Warped no longer affect the player's fall speed if they have Featherfall Potion active.
    • Death Mode random boss spawns can now only occur if the player has more than 300 max health.
    • The Drunk Princess can now mention Javyz, Shifter, Crysthamyr, Elfinlocks, Ein, 2Larry2, Jenonen, Dodu, Arti, and Tervastator.
    • The Eternia Crystal is now immune to all debuffs.
