Purple Haze is a craftable Hardmode alcohol. Upon consumption, it inflicts the Purple Haze debuff, which provides the following effects:

• +8% damage
• -5% defense
• +10 immunity frames when the player takes more than 1 damage (+5 when taking 1 damage)

While the effects of the Purple Haze debuff are mostly beneficial, it is still considered a debuff, and therefore cannot be removed by right-clicking the icon.

• The immunity frames increase does not stack with the Cross Necklace or its upgrades but will stack with the extra immunity frames provided by the Deific Amulet or Rampart of Deities.

Trivia

• The item shares a name with the Jimi Hendrix song of the same name, which itself was named after a strain of marijuana.
