The Stellar Knife is a Hardmode dagger that is dropped by Aries after Astrum Aureus is defeated. When thrown, it moves and rapidly spins in the direction it was initially thrown, slowly decelerating and losing spin speed over time. Once the knife fully decelerates, it then remains still until an enemy is within its detection range for it to home in.

Performing a stealth strike with the Stellar Knife causes ten knives to be thrown instead of one. If more than fifteen knives are present, this effect cannot trigger.

Its best modifier is Flawless.


  • This weapon can also be obtained from Astral Crates after Astrum Aureus is defeated.


  • The tooltip is a reference to the third story arc of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Stardust Crusaders. In it, The World ("Za Warudo" as pronounced in Japanese) is the Stand of Dio Brando / DIO, which allows him to stop time.
    • The way the weapon works references to how DIO often uses his knives in stopped time, stopping along with the time before accelerating once the time resumes.

  • Decreased sell price from 12 Gold Coin to 9 Gold Coin.png 60 Silver Coin.png.
    • Stealth strike now throws out 10 knives instead of 20, however, increased the knife limit from 10 to 20.
    • If there are more than 20 in existence only 1 knife will be thrown regardless if the attack is a stealth strike.
    • Stealth strikes now have a 110% damage modifier.
    • Fixed a bug where stealth strike projectiles could not proc the effects of certain rogue accessories.
  • Nerfed damage from 60 to 50, and use time from 8 to 9.
