Stasis Probes were post-Moon Lord boss servant enemies that spawned during the Storm Weaver boss fight.

Behavior

They behaved similarly to the Probes spawned by The Destroyer but they moved much faster and had a higher rate of fire.

Notes

  • Up to 3 of each Stasis Probe variant could spawn at a time.

Tips

  • The Stasis Probes made the Storm Weaver boss fight harder, so it was wise to destroy them first.
  • The naked variant of the Stasis Probe moved faster than the regular variant. However, it had much less defense than the regular variant.

  • 1.4.5.003: Buffed laser damage from 120 / 200 Expert Mode to 120 / 200 Expert Mode / 232 Revengeance Mode / 248 Death Mode.

    • Nerfed armored variant's contact damage from 70 / 140 Expert Mode / 161 Death Mode to 70 / 140 Expert Mode.

    • Buffed naked Stasis Probe's health from 1950 Expert Mode to 2100 Expert Mode, contact damage from 162 Expert Mode to 175 Expert Mode, and nerfed laser's damage from 200 to 140.
    • Both probes now take up 4 NPC slots instead of 2.
    • Both probes now produce less dust.
  • 1.1.7.809: Armored Stasis Probes now take up 2 NPC slots instead of 1.
  • 1.1.7.801:
    • Buffed armored Stasis Probe's health from 1100 / 1430 Expert Mode to 1500 / 1950 Expert Mode, defense from 80 to 100, and nerfed laser damage from 200 / 224 Expert Mode to 140 / 184 Expert Mode.
    • Buffed naked Stasis Probe's health from 1100 / 1430 Expert Mode to 1500 / 1950 Expert Mode, nerfed defense from 20 to 10, nerfed laser damage from 260 / 280 Expert Mode to 200 / 240 Expert Mode, and made it fire more often.
    • Both Probes now have an immunity frame cooldown slot of 1 instead of the default 0.
    • Both Probes no longer inflict Frozen, and no longer temporarily stop firing lasers if hit.
  • 1.1.7.56: Resprited the armored variant.
  • 1.1.7:
    • Introduced the naked variant.
    • Buffed health from 500 to 1100 / 1430 Expert Mode, and defense from 40 to 80.
    • Now only inflicts Frozen on contact in Expert Mode, and is no longer guaranteed to inflict it.
  • 1.1.6.15:
    • Now produces dust when hit.
