Star Beam Rye is a Hardmode potion that is sold by the Drunk Princess during the night if Astrum Aureus has been defeated. It grants the Star Beam Rye debuff when consumed, which reduces life regen by 2 and defense by 6%, but increases magic damage by 8%, max mana by 50 and reduces mana usage by 10%.

While the effects of the Star Beam Rye debuff are mostly beneficial, it is still considered a debuff, and therefore cannot be removed by right-clicking the icon.

• This item's name is a reference to Jim Beam Rye, a brand of Whiskey.
