Use

The Helstorm is a craftable Hardmode gun. When used, it rapidly auto-fires two bullets at once, with a slightly random spread. The gun itself deals contact damage to enemies, a unique property for a ranged weapon that it shares with the Hellborn. Enemies that take contact damage from the gun will be inflicted with the Hellfire debuff.

Its best modifier is Unreal.

Notes

• As the gun's hitbox does not change based on aim, it will not always hit enemies that pass through the sprite.
• When dealing contact damage with the gun itself, the base damage is the same and the damage type is still Ranged.

Trivia

• Despite being called the "Helstorm", it does not share a connection with The Underworld.
  • This is likely because Scoria Ore used to spawn in the Underworld, before being moved to the Abyss.
