The Influx Waver is a Hardmode, post-Golem sword that fires a blue sword projectile in a straight line towards the cursor once per swing. Upon making contact with an enemy or another hostile projectile, the Influx Waver's sword projectiles will teleport and plunge themselves into three nearby enemies, prioritizing the original target, and dealing the weapon's full base damage for each occurrence. The Influx Waver has a 1/6 (16.67%) chance of being dropped by the Martian Saucer during the Martian Madness event.

Its best modifier is Legendary.

Notes

• The Influx Waver's projectiles travel at 56 mph and has a maximum range of 2,475 tiles. It appears to fluctuate in size and becomes much smaller as it gains distance.
• It does not track teleporting enemies like casters, nor does it target critters.
• As with all projectiles, it slows down significantly in honey. However, if it hits an enemy in the honey, the returning projectiles travel at normal speed.

Tips

• The sword projectile's teleportation ability makes the Influx Waver a versatile weapon, suitable for both high-health targets and crowd control.

Trivia

• While it deals more damage than the Terra Blade, it is not a direct upgrade. The Terra Blade has a slightly faster speed and more knockback, pierces through targets, and unlike the Influx Waver, does not rely on automatic targeting. However, the Influx Waver is superior when fighting single targets.
