The Heavenly Gale's crystal arrows and lightning.

The Heavenly Gale is a craftable post-Moon Lord bow. It converts all arrows into a sweeping barrage of nine exo crystals which pass through tiles and home in on enemies, consuming one arrow per burst. Holding the bow without firing it will cause the bow to start glowing and its arrows to gradually increase in damage until the next time the user attacks, up to 450% damage after 5 seconds of waiting (signified by a star effect). If the arrows are sufficiently charged, they will additionally summon piercing lightning bolts from above the target on hit that constantly deal 162% of the weapon's damage.

Its best modifier is Unreal.

These history sections are still a work-in-progress, and may not yet contain changes relevant to the current version of the Calamity Mod.
  • 2.0.2.002:
    • Nerfed damage from 334 to 300 but buffed use time from 42 to 40.
    • Now properly consumes one arrow for each arrow fired, rather than one arrow for all arrows fired in one use. Each arrow now scales with arrow damage.
  • 2.0.2.001:
    • Now inflicts Miracle Blight.
    • Now uses Telluric Glare in its recipe instead of Alluvion and Galeforce.

  • 1.4.2.102: Now inflicts Exo Freeze for 0.5 seconds, and Brimstone Flames, Glacial State, Holy Flames, Plague, Cursed Inferno, Frostburn, On Fire!, and Ichor for 2 seconds.
  • 1.4.2.001:

    • Green tornado marks are now internally a ranged projectile.
