The Clamor Rifle is a Hardmode gun that is dropped by the Giant Clam mini boss. It transforms Musket Balls into aquatic energy bolts that will home in on enemies. Upon impact with an enemy or a tile, the aquatic energy bolt will split into three smaller bolts, that will deal 40% of the initial bullet's damage.

Its best modifier is Unreal.


  • This weapon can also be obtained from Prism Crates in Hardmode after the Giant Clam has been defeated.
Clamor Rifle bolts fired at a Target Dummy, then homing into the Super Dummy. Note that bolts do not pass through blocks.


These history sections are still a work-in-progress, and may not yet contain changes relevant to the current version of the Calamity Mod.
  • Convert projectiles now home towards the closest enemy instead of the earliest enemy in the NPC array.
    • Buffed damage from 32 to 36 but nerfed additional projectile's damage from 45% base damage to 40%.
    • Now inflicts Eutrophication for 3 seconds.
    • Decreased sell price from 7 Gold Coin.png 20 Silver Coin.png to 4 Gold Coin.png 80 Silver Coin.png.
  • No longer considered a nature weapon.
  • Nerfed damage from 32 to 23, and use time from 12 to 15.
  • Fixed it spawning split projectiles in the wrong place.
